Hi Christina, the gift card IS for your NEXT purchase. The deal was just calculated to show the final price after all discounts were figured. You’d still have to pay $5.93 out of pocket. The ideal situation is to roll gift cards from previous deals into this one so you’re really coming out ahead. For instance, I have a $5 gift card from the Mott’s deal. I could use it to pay towards the $5.93, making my actual OOP just $0.93 (plus tax). Then I’d get another $5 gift card. I’d save that one and use it on another gift card deal and so on and so forth.
