Ok, so due to the holiday weekend, which was very relaxing, Simple Menu Monday is a day late, but here it is.

My week didn’t go exactly as planned last week so three dinners carried over to this week. One night we decided to use a Groupon for Flatire Burgers, another night I made Tuna & Peas w/ Macaroni & Cheese (as a super quick meal) and another night we had a left over buffet.

Monday - Homemade Chicken Pot Pie (carry over)

I’ll just tell it like it is…I don’t think I’ve ever spent more time chasing an offer or been more frustrated over the miscommunication of information.

I spent about 20 minutes on the phone with Kraft Foods today. The verdict is that the coupon for $5 off 5 Participating Kraft Cheese and Dairy products is indeed a legitimate printable coupon available for use nationwide. It is, however, at the sole discrepancy of each retailer to determine whether they will accept any internet coupon or not.

I have tried to contact Homeland Corporate but their advertising department is in a meeting. I am waiting for a call back. The local Kraft representative is also supposed to follow up with me today.

I have heard that Walmart stores are accepting this coupon so that is your best bet at this point.

If anything changes, I’ll update this post immediately.
