FaithWorks of the Inner City

Almost 15 years ago, Sally Goin began volunteering at the City Rescue Mission in Oklahoma City where she met a boy named Miguel. Over time, Sally began working more closely with Miguel. With Sally’s help, Miguel was able to make a home at Willow Springs Boys Ranch.
It was Sally’s relationship with Miguel that inspired the creation of FaithWorks of the Inner City. Sally left her teaching career in Edmond to begin FaithWorks in 2003.
FaithWorks of the Inner City is a nonprofit ministry designed to meet the educational, spiritual, and physical needs of inner city children and their families. This ministry partners with neighborhood schools and communities to establish after school tutoring programs, adult education programs, and Bible clubs. FaithWorks of the Inner City also provides for physical needs, such as food, clothing, shelter, utilities, and medical care.
